Think pink ..

Bright pink, magenta, purply pink, candy pink, just NOT soft pink. Preferably with lime green, orange .. bright colours similar to what I'm hoping to bring to my garden .. full on rich, vibrant colour. The Euphrobia's provide the vibrant green, the alliums, purple globes, the wine red foliage of Heuchera purpureum .. There is a list of wants .. Gaps that need filling in this new bed, shapes as important as colour, so I'm making a mental note plus taking photos of where gaps need filling. The background blur provided by the gladiolus byzantinus, purple aka Devon lily, & Euphorbia, and in the foreground  Mesembryanthemum  roseum, & Nectaroscordum siculum. Right that's the blip pic sorted.
An early start, up to the allotment, a bit of watering & weeding, then back home for what feels like a lazy relaxing day. I sat in the sun for a while, lunch, followed by The Sewing Bee on catch up, then another sunshine fix. I deconstructed the half baskets I was planning to plant up for the garden, instead settling for a full basket in another location.

Dinner should have been a spag bol sauce (freezer dip) cottage pie, but my stewed rhubarb was occupying the ovenware dish so it was a deconstructed cottage pie. Easy dinner .. followed by another slice of the pear, chocolate, & hazelnut upside down cake ... with cream... naturally.

A back blip  :- )
