Evening light

What a beautiful days it's been.  The sun has been shining all day and the wind of the past few days has died down.  I spent far too long on the allotment this morning.  I had decided it was time to plant the French beans and as they had grown very tall this involved untangling them and then tying them up the canes without damaging them.  Next year I won't start them quite so early.  

This afternoon it's been sourdough making along with reading in the garden.  Given it was still very hot and calm this evening we went for a quick walk along the coastal path where this view looking back on Budleigh was taken.  Then it was back home to water the allotment and cook the sourdough.
