Tree Surgery

We saw the tree surgeon’s van at a neighbours house on Thursday, he came to see the trees on Friday and sent us a quote the same day. Nowhere near as much as we were expecting so we said yes please!
He said it would be within the next couple of weeks and he’d let us know.
Last night he called at 8pm to ask could he come this morning.
I said that was fine and he said he’s see us at 6.45am.
Blimey!!
So Mr K got up early and move Marshall so they’d have somewhere to park the van.
By 7.30am I was forced to admit that he may in fact have said 7.45am. Oops!!!!
They were bang on time.
Wow! What an amazing service. The diseased ash was taken down - by a woman with a chainsaw who Miss E was giddy to discover climbed the tree using the same method she does when we do the tree climbing events. The hazel was halved in size and what I thought was an alder but is in fact a whitebeam was beautifully pruned and shaped. They cleaned up so well that the garden and paths were neater than when they arrived. They went next door and did the branches hanging on their side.
All done by 10am. Amazing!!!
I was so worried that it would look awful without the ash and we’d be much more overlooked by next door but it’s fine.
We spent the rest of the day sat out admiring it.
It’s so good to get amazing service, brilliant results and pay a fraction of what you were expecting.
Whoop whoop!!
