Flowers, flowers, flowers

After a lot of work in the garden this morning we decided to go and buy some flowers. Partly this was to support our local plant nursery, and partly it was to have something in the garden before our own flowers get around to growing!  Anyway, it was lovely to be among all these blooms and we got many flowers for not much money.
Once we got home Jan set about planting them while I took an e-bike ride to get a little exercise before our online political meeting.
I got home again with moments to spare but Jan had already set everything up. This world of online meetings is very similar to the world I worked in before retiring. As we've talked to friends, political colleagues, the local council, and relatives we have used Zoom, Jitsi, Teams and Skype for Business. It's interesting to see how much easier to use and how much more reliable the various programs are, compared to four years ago.  All worked on the computer, though they seem less reliable via phones and tablets.
Gardening is proving very tiring and some evenings my energy is just gone! So apologies for a lack of comments on some days.
