Festival of weeks, celebrated with dairy products, noticeably cheesecake! Milk is considered to be a symbol of the Torah, which nourishes soul as milk does for a baby.

It commemorates the giving of the Torah to the Jewish people and the book of Ruth is read, significant for Jews-by-choice.

I just love dairy products! It’s my favourite festival!
