Potato flower

We had a lovely walk early this morning on Aylesbeare Common.  The sun was shining and it was beautifully calm and warm.  Our main objective was to see a Dartford Warbler which friends have seen several times but we didn't manage this despite staring at various small birds in the distance.  We met one person who said has seen them several times and when we met him further round the site he said he saw two just after he spoke to us.  Glad to know they are around we will revisit. We did see several Stonechats and a Tree Pippet though.

Later this evening I headed to the allotment to give it a watering and pick some of the strawberries.  Todays blip is a photo of the wet potato flowers.
