Day 71 Linder's Field

Another day of cloudless skies and warmth.  Looking back, I see that on this day 4 years ago it was so cold that I was driven to turning on the gas coal fire.  June is often like that in this part of the world and the term 'Flaming June' can be interpreted a couple of ways.
This week marks the beginning of real change for is in this interminable lockdown.  Tomorrow Violet is going back to school, albeit for mornings only sessions, but 5 days a week.  Mr MC officially starts work next week but will have to pop in for meetings with team members and training for the new regime.
This afternoon we went to Linder's Field where the lack of rain is beginning to tell as the paths are dry and dusty and of course sadly the little tadpole pond has dried up so we avoid that.  We only spotted two rocks today, but that was because of our chosen route I suspect, as the FB page showed that other children had found quite a number.  We did place our own stone under a tree.
