Best Friends

This is my friend, Roger and I about 25 years ago on one of our many bike trips.  He could probably look at this and tell me exactly when and where it was taken.  He was good with times and dates.  Today is a date that I always remember, though, because it's his birthday.  He passed away 6 years ago at 89, so today would be his 95th.  Even though he's not here with me, I still celebrate his life.

I am grateful for our 30 year friendship and all the wonderful times he spent with me and my family.  We all still miss him, especially me. :'(
