For Floyd

I'd agreed to go across to Pulpit Hill this afternoon to advise on someone's plants, so descended Jacob's Ladder as the quickest route across to the ferry terminal and beyond. Someone had chalked a dedication to George Floyd on the path at the bottom with a long list of names, schoolchildren maybe, I don't know. I couldn't get a very good picture so I've put it on as an extra.

On the other side of George Street, on the concrete surface surrounding  the War Memorial garden, something similar had been done. This is today's Blip.

Quote of the Day:

Nelson Mandela - “No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love”.
