Ballerinas

Several roses in flower in the 'yard, and these little 'ballerinas' are looking rather sorry for themselves after being battered by the wind and rain last night.

MrM's latest 'miracle cure' for leaks in the workshop roof arrived today and, after the minor flood a couple of days ago, he was keen to put it in place as soon as possible. It's a two-person job really and involved me going out numerous times to assist, mostly by holding the ladder, and fetching and carrying. Keeping fingers and toes crossed that it works, as more heavy rain is forecast for this evening!
