Same old, same old

Same old hot, sunny weather! Same old picture of Piazza and a boat. Same old burst water main leaving us without water - again!

I was doing some washing up this morning at 10.20 when the water went off! Probably the 5th time in the last year or so. Oban's water mains must be made of blotting paper!

Walked down to town today - apart from a few big clouds on the horizon the sky above was blue and the sun was hot! Came home and sat on the deck with a cool shandy and Jane Austen - having re-re-read P&P and S&S it's the turn of Emma! Surprisingly Scottish Water delivered a six pack of water bottles to all the affected houses - I wasn't expecting that! Let's hope they get the water back on soon - a lot of plants need watering!

Quote of the day:

Benjamin Franklin - "When the well is dry, we’ll know the worth of water."
