Wood Pigeon #55

After doing the shopping this morning we had a lovely hour sitting in the garden at my parents. It was warm and sunny, if a tad windy. As soon as we got home though the weather changed and it went really dull and we had a few short showers. 
We didn’t bother with a walk today but I spent some time watching the goldfinches devouring the sunflower hearts and the tits feeding their young. 
This evening whilst watching Springwatch a pair of huge wood pigeons chased each other around the garden for what seemed like hours. Eventually one flew away and the other sat on the bird feeder for a while in the last of the sunlight. And since I’ve not blipped one yet this year, here it is. 

The weather is not looking great for tomorrow, but fingers crossed we get a window of dryness to go out for a walk. I need a good walk now.
