Been baking

What a horrible dreich day! With Edinburgh swathed in fog morning, afternoon and evening, I hunkered down in the kitchen for the duration. Here I continued work on my secret recreational project, blogged, played Carcassonne (only just lost), and baked. 

Liz and Tony were meant to be coming for tea and cakes in our area (front yard) this afternoon, but we postponed this to tomorrow instead. In their honour I have made a lemon drizzle cake (blipped undrizzled) and a batch of chocolate brownies. I also made the filling for tomorrow evening's dinner of Crecy plate pie. Meanwhile Mr hazelh has worked on our 2008/09 photo book and argued with computers.

Exercise today: none.
