Hoverfly

There were lots of bees in the garden today and I hope that means something good is happening as regards the disease and decline that the bee population has suffered recently.  I'm not "up" on different bee types but I could still see how many different varieties were on the various shrubs.

Joanne called in for coffee today and how good it was to see her and to do something so mundane as enjoying a chat and a coffee together.  After she went home we pottered in the garden and that's where I spotted not only bees but hoverflies too.
