The garden felt very bare this morning compared with a couple of days ago.  None of us really likes the open view, even if it does make the garden feel a bit larger.  However, it will be some time before we can replace the trees with anything which gives the same division into separate areas.

We've started putting in summer bedding plants to try and add a bit of colour to the intense greens.
