A vibrant red rose from a neglected plant

I cleared some dense overgrown vegetation including our bay tree's voluminous branches, and there struggling in an old pot was this delightful red rose.

I pulled it out into the air, weeded it, watered it and admired it. Now its only flower is looking so vibrant and beautiful, despite the soaking it has been having. This was taken from a distance.
