Rain on the Pavement

Hot, muggy day. Mike and I went into the newly more opened Sutton centre to get bits to attach a soap holder to a stud wall and so on. Without umbrellas. And the skies opened. But there was blue sky and sunshine, so we waited for the worst to pass.

Gratefuls:
- feeling OK about the fact that we'd have been sailing tonight, and aren't
- messages from friends in Portugal, asking if we're back
- reading a good book for the second time and taking notes so it goes in better:
Garden City: Work, Rest, and the Art of Being Human, by John Mark Comer (nicked off Deb's reading pile for her MA)
