Cannon Hall & Pye Flatt Meadow

We’ve been to Cannon Hall this afternoon - our first visit since aeons ago!  We are now restocked  with the things that Cannon Hall Farm Shop do so well.  The shop was reasonably quiet, but there were lots of people out and about near the garden centre and parkland car-park.

On the way home we stopped off at Pye Flatt Meadows to see how it was looking.  Normally our camera club would make a visit at this time of year, but so far we’ve not organised anything that can’t be delivered by Zoom.  On the whole it’s looking good, but I think not as many Common Spotted Orchids this year as we’ve seen in the past.  I rather like a return visit first thing in the morning, but I’d also like sunshine and so far this week our mornings have been misty.

Extra:  Goats Beard - gone to seed

Tai Chi this morning - we’ve hit on a new solution to too much talking, which is to carry on moving and doing our own thing!

Penistone CC Zoom meeting this evening - a chance to talk about the second of our images taken during lock-down and also a chance for me to try and motivate more people to submit their Reflection Images for inclusion in our very first ISSUU photo-book.
