Snake Found In The Grass

Grass snakes play dead when threatened. Sadly this tiny one is dead. :( I found it in the long grass not far from the lake - these snakes love water. It had probably been caught and dropped by a predator, which could have been a cat, fox, badger, bird or hedgehog.
