Another Day, Another Dun

Flat calm most of the day, warm and sunny again.  Mist has been hanging over the east, and creeping not far away tonight.

Up early, and headed out after breakfast, and ended up at friend Aimee's on my way home.  I was worried about mist locking in this morning, so I wanted to get out while it was fine. I started work after lunch, and a few hours this evening.  Friends Liz and Fiona popped by for a cuppa in the afternoon.  Met up with Julie for a walk this evening.  Plenty of folk to chat with along the way.  Feet up after work tonight.

A fine morning for a run out west, and a walk in the hills.  As I approached this inland loch, there was a structure on it, a dun.  Very similar to yesterday's Blip, the isle about the same size, and the dun also covers the entire isle.  The crudely build remains will probably date back to the Iron Age.  Another mysterious building, why, when, what?  If only we had some sort of spy glass to see it in use.  Taken at Burga Water, near Sandness.
