Juvenile Blackbird Eating Cherries

A large ornamental cherry tree overhangs our back garden from the school woodland. Now that the cherries are beginning to ripen, the birds have arrived for a feast.

The pigeons came two days ago. Today, a juvenile blackbird has been gorging herself. I think it's a female because she has a dark beak.

Rain all day. Basil and I haven't even been able to go out for a walk unless we put all our wet weather gear on and there's no fun in that. Extra is of a bedraggled foxglove in the garden.

Trying to work out my Miops Smart trigger which promises to let me take photos of lightning, water drops and popping balloons, but how? No real guidance in the online manual. I hate not getting a paper manual to read.
