Rain

It rained today, in fact it rained most of the day.   At least we didn't have the thunder of yesterday, just steady wetness.   I braved the weather to take a couple of shots of the verbena bonariensis, a lot of which had been beaten down by the heavy rain, hence the photo looks like it's on its side.

The rest of the day was spent not doing much, though we did manage to get out for a walk later this afternoon.  We took a short drive to Wilmcote and walked by the canal.  The front garden of Mary Arden's Farm looks very overgrown, I suspect they'll be pleased when they can reopen.

Just settling down to coffee and the daily briefing now, so endeth another day in lockdown.

In other news: Ann walked into town early this morning. Apparently there's a lot of work going on in the town centre setting up the main roads for greater pedestrian access and social distancing including one-way systems.
