A first time for everything

I accepted an invitation to my first ever virtual book launch. Congratulations Arclight! It was an occasion to remember and as she mentioned, we’d not even need to drink tepid white wine - we could open our own crisp chilled choice. And toast her we did, though by then. my internet had given up on seeing anybody.

I see Scotland hasn’t yet relaxed the distance for driving which remains approximately 5 miles so no visits yet from Scottish friends and family. However in a couple of weeks camp sites in England will open so let’s see if there’s any spaces for a self-contained trip away.
