Across the Border

Finally finished off the filing this morning. Hooray! Ready to start on the accounts next week.

Another trip to Kelso to fetch our 'click and collect' supermarket shopping. All very efficient on previous occasions, but the system had broken down this afternoon, and the lorry containing the orders wasn't there when we arrived during our allotted slot. We waited patiently in a growing queue of cars, until the lorry was eventually driven in to the car park 40 minutes later.

On the way home, not far from Kelso, MrM stopped the car so I could take a photo or two. At the same time I got us a couple of mini choc ices out of the cool box. Aaaargh, they weren't as cooling as anticipated as the ice cream was melting, and all the frozen items in the shopping had begun to defrost! Luckily we hadn't bought many! Presumably there was a problem with the supermarket's lorry. Never mind, a minor inconvenience in the great scheme of things...
