Family fun

This little family was at play again in the garden of the family building across the alley.  Although the building has a couple of hundred apartments, they are the only people I've ever seen in the garden.  They were having fun.

The soup came out tasting dreadful.  I wasn't sure what to do with it - cut my losses and throw it out, or add some chicken, garlic and other flavorings in the hope of making it palatable.  I opted for the latter, so it is in the crock pot and starting to taste a bit better.  This is the last time I will ever cook without strictly following a recipe.  I just don't have the flair for this any more.  It was a terrible disappointment.
