Common Grackle ....

.... not that there's anything common about these beautiful birds!  But that's their official name!

We made a Costco run this afternoon and then later after supper we went to Housenick Park for a walk.  I was surprised that there was only one car in the parking lot when we got there.  Maybe because it's Father's Day here in the states.  

The weather was fine except for it being a tad humid.  As usual I spent some time in the pool ... and saw the female hummingbird twice whilst out there.  It's great to see her visit our feeders but I wish I could have gotten a picture of her while the sun was shining brightly.  Hopefully soon.
