Father’s Day

Or should it be Fathers’ Day? After all, arriving at the daughter’s as summoned, I found another father. A much younger one. I’m sure he’d also been treated to a wonderful two litre can of Neck Oil from Montpelier’s.
And later, another bit of socialising (you’re allowed to do this twice a day, I believe) as we arrived at the SK’s cousin to celebrate her aunt’s surprise 94th birthday. I say surprise, clearly it’s not been a surprise since 1927. Much as she seemed to enjoy herself, she once again opined that she’d had enough. You can get too old, she declared. And despite her frequent trips to Sainsbury’s, she's managed to avoid the plague so far. Bad luck J: your 95th is on its way.
