Forest Bug

A WildWed entry with thanks as always to Cailleach for hosting. This brown shield bug is sitting on a shrub in the garden. I had to take the saturation down a bit or the leaf would have dominated. So you can't see the bug's red legs.

Good news from the Education Secretary yesterday. I'm not sure how the teachers who've spent ages preparing blended learning models will feel but those are there in the background now. I expect we might well need some home school in the winter if the predicted covid wave takes hold. But I'm so pleased that the government has shown greater ambition for children in the new school year.

The girls' dad has some leave today so he is bringing them over to play in the garden later. I think it will be more successful than Monday as the sun is, as forecast, shining and it's warm. To be made the most of.

Later on yoga will take a turn for the more sociable. Lyn, now part of the extended household, will bring her mat here and we'll zoom in to the class together. It'll be a squash in the dining room but we'll manage. We both need the motivation of other people to really do the stretches.

Otherwise it's a fairly quiet day ahead. Unless something unexpected turns up.
