Is It Wide Enough

There's a spot on one of our forest rides where you come to a gate in the middle of the woods. There's no fencing around it , although perhaps there once was. There's absolutely no need to go through it so why would you? 

Did you see Epping Forest featured on Countryfile last Sunday? Apparently there are over 100 ponds so that could be a photo project on it's own.

At my suggestion we set off this morning an hour earlier than usual to get ahead of the heat. It worked and the air temperature under the trees was perfect.

I was going to enter this for Wide Wednesday but I see that is for mono shots and the colours in the forest today seemed too good to lose.
