Stove

A fairly calm day, and warm too.  There was mist over the hills this morning, misty on the east, and then the sun burned through in the afternoon and a sunny evening.

Up early and started work at my desk.   I also had a video meeting in the morning.  In the late afternoon, I popped by cousin Shannon's, for a cuppa in the garden.  I met a caddie lamb out for walkies this evening, and also saw a humpback whale off Cunningsburgh.  Feet up by the fire now.

We've maybe not had the temperatures of southern England today, but high teens is comfortable for Shetland.  It was warm this morning, but the sunshine this afternoon made all the odds. Note Willie Halcrow sitting outside his home, enjoying the sunny afternoon.  Taken at Stove, Sandwick.
