New family

I bumped into my ex colleague, Alex, and his wife this afternoon.  They became parents 2 weeks ago today. The baby was screaming but soon settled after a circuit of the garden centre.  

It was difficult not to get too close. Very relaxed mum and dad and very happy.

I was hoping for a woodland G&T in the cutting this evening but it's Clive's turn to host beers in the garden. I could go alone I suppose.

No rain. Very hot again.
