Budding Beauty

I managed to book a last minute ticket to Nymans Gardens.  After the heat and bad behaviour of people over the last few days, it was a delight to visit a socially-distance managed property with plenty of space for families and friends to meet and chat, or relax over a picnic or a good book.  The beautiful gardens and balmy Summer's day (with the threatened thunder storms staying away) was the icing on the cake. OK, so the gardens weren't up to their normal emaculate condition, but were maybe all the more charming in their slightly unkemp state, and with more areas left as "meadow land", the wild flowers were abundant.

Most of the house area was out of bounds, but the small courtyard with its tubs of Agapanthus was accessible. The flowers are just budding, and gave me my subject for today's Flower Friday Challenge.  A small selection of views around the site in extras.
