Great Blue Heron

Great Blue Heron in the backyard today just after we had come in from working out there.

Kent was out cutting all the grass and I weeded the circular garden.  I then cleaned up the tulip tree, stripping all the new growth off the stems so the nutrients would just be going to the foliage at the top.  Now I just need to do the crepe myrtles again.  

I made a batch of Buckeye Fudge so Kent can take some of it to work for his co-worker that has celiac disease.  This is definitely something he can enjoy.  

I have begun a bead weaving pattern I have never done before.  Although it is not difficult, it is going to be slow going.  Just the little I have done has me looking forward to the finished work.
