Miss Edna Amaryllis

Since the Miss Edna Amaryllis (see my June 7th entry) hadn't bloomed for me in about 10 years, it has decided to give me a double lot of blooms this year!  

As it is right outside my living room window, it is nice to be sitting on the sofa and glance out the window and see these pretty blooms.  

Today the air quality here in NC is to be poor due to the Saharan Sand making its way through our skies.  All the more reason for people to wear their masks!!

We will have our own church services here at the house and then I will most likely spend a good part of my time outside in the shade reading as there is a wonderful breeze blowing and I need to take advantage of outside weather when I can.
