A golden dawn

This morning I woke to the sound of rain and a golden light at the edges of the blinds. I grabbed the Samsung and shot this out of the bedroom window. It's not snapped or enhanced in mono mode - it's just a natural mono.

The tree is a Chinese elm, which would be a reason not to buy the house in whose yard it stands. It's lifting the pavement and pushing over their fence. But this wouldn't be a pic without it.
