Light Seekers And Reflectors

At last a few flowers begin to bloom in the meadow, their heads bend towards the setting sun. In the background a few white allium heads, waiting their turn, catch the light against a dark shadow. Out of focus, they glow in the darkness, like fireflies.

I used a medium telephoto lens to compose a tight shot and bring the two sets of flowers closer together. The 5x4 format further emphasises the foreground flowers and excludes unwanted dead space.
