Going Downhill

Although I haven't done extensive research on the subject, it seems to me from the news I've heard that countries with female leaders are doing much better in this pandemic than those with male leaders. Jacinda Ardern in New Zealand with just 22 deaths, Angela Merkel in Germany, Sanna Marin in Finland and Tsai Ing-wen in Thailand ha've all done well (assuming we can believe the published figures). Funny that!

Our bathrooms are almost finished. There's a bit of a delay on the work tops which are overdue because of the lockdown in countries with a male leader. They should be here next week and the temporary ones will be replaced. A large mirror in our en suite can't be fitted until the worktop is in place. Because of the virus, they had to get a festival style potable khazi (for the fitter to use - not us, thankfully) so that's sitting on the driveway looking very attractive, Hopefully that will soon go now.

I took a photo as I walked back down the hill after going to the village for a couple of things.
