Where's My Lunch?

This male cardinal was feeding safflower seeds to his youngster this afternoon, as I watched from the kitchen.  I asked myself if I had time to grab my camera and get outside in time to catch part of the interaction.  Of course I had to try, but at least this time it was worth it.  The little one did a great deal of wing fluttering and squawking, clearly asking for more.
