The tide was incoming and the waves were squeezing through this opening, I caught it as it crashed against the rocks, there is another one in extra as a long exposure.
We were walking Caroline Bay, the Benvenue Cliffs and beyond.  We were rugged up to the max as it was really cold - but the walk did us good to get out.  The weather deteriorated even further so the rest of the day was spent home with the fire cranking.  Rugby was watched and enjoyed.
Tomorrow our Wellington family start their roadie south - on the ferry at 9am, three & half hours crossing Cook Straight, then a seven hour drive to get to us.  A big day for them, it will be great to see them all again.  It was Christmas when we were together last. Harry won a tennis tournament today, Janelle (daughter) sent down a photo which I’ve put in extras.
