Water off a duck's back?

No water on a Woodpigeon's ( Columba palumbus) back.  I thought this shot rather summed up what the weather has been like.  Showery but few gaps between and very heavy when it was raining.

The result was nothing done outside and a few jobs sorted indoors.  A very quiet uneventful day really.
