As a result of lockdown I have rekindled my interest in growing sweeet peas (todays photo) and I have just picked my first sweet peas. 
 
As a teenager on the farm in Wales I used to grow sweet peas which always won first prize at our local show in Llangenny, except one year one of the farm dogs, eager to get a ride in the car, jumped in and sat on them.

 I have a long way to go before I reach exhibition standard again. No matter. Next year will try better.
