Great Spangled Fritillary

Dear Diary,

The bee balm I planted the other day is blooming and it is a butterfly magnet, especially for this little Fritillary.  More bee balm will be blooming soon so there will be plenty to sup on going forward.  The garden has taken on a whole new look now with the mallow blooming around St. Francis. (extra)  Our weather will be heating up again this week I'm afraid so I will be watering the new plants regularly.  It is summer after all.
