Messing about on the river

Three intrepid explorers, away on their travels.  I spent much of the day at Padley Gorge, near Sheffield, with my son, daughter, their partners, the 3 grandchildren and some friends. This was a favourite walk when my son and daughter were very young. There's plenty to do, on the river bank and in the shallow water. Jumping between rocks, paddling, falling in and getting pulled back out and dried off, ready to do it all over again... It was damp and misty, but that doesn't make any difference to the mind or body of a 4 year old.  We had a wonderful, relaxing day. Meanwhile Richard, my other half, stayed home, did 2 Zoom meetings and cooked tea. I know I'm lucky.
