Loughborough beyond that tree

But you can't see it because of the rain and mist. Len, Basil and I went for a walk in The Outwoods at the edge of Charnwood Forest despite it raining. The foliage was verdant and the woods silent because hardly anyone else was there.

We made our way to the rocky high ground overlooking Nanpantan. I liked the way this oak tree and rocks framed what would have been a view over the town.

Basil seemed to be exhausted by the walk and flopped down on his chair for the rest of the day.

I read a story about Gordon the Big Engine for William and am about to post it to YouTube.

Choir practice this evening. We sang some chorales, the Sanctus and Pleni Sunt Coeli from the Bach B Minor Mass, then Abendleid by Rheinberger.
