This is why the grass grows so green...

I set off for my walk in sunshine but luckily I always carry waterproofs :-) If you look on the left of this photo you can actually see the rain falling. It was proper rain,  not mizzle or drizzle, coming down horizontally and heavily.

Luke and I just went for another walk after tea and the sun is out again.

This field was cut for silage yesterday - I liked the pattern of the stripes.
