Interlude

A little time in 'Recovery' after having a tooth extracted.   Returning from Dolgellau, I stopped at what used to be Barmouth Junction station where the line inland to Dolgellau, Bala and beyond used to leave the Cambrian Coast and head inland.   Now just a simple halt, Morfa Mawddach.   There's a great walking and cycle trail along the old trackbed but today's was just a short stroll towards Barmouth and the iconic bridge.  See the line heading that way in extra pic.   Still cool but the recent rains will have done the wildflowers no harm, they were profuse.

The tooth, troublesome for a while, broke last night at dinner.   Lucky am I that while fillings are not yet being performed, simple extractions (it was an old Baby Tooth) are possible.  Never a fun experience, to my mind the worst is in the anticipation so I was glad when a morning call led to a speedy resolution.  Gonna be sore for a day or two but it's done.
