Marguerite

That's what my mother called these. A dainty name for a  large, shall we say rather blowsy, member of the daisy family.  

But she's still standing, when others are flattened by the wind, macerated by the rain and devoured by the insect life. 

Well done, Maggie. Oh, she's also good for whooping cough, asthma and nervous excitability. Apparently.

I'm ok as regards whooping cough and asthma. And there's not much excitement about either ...
