My Music Group mate for whom I'm doing the web site was coming over this afternoon to discuss progress and make some executive decisions about content and the like. We're starting off with a holding page which will be re-directed to from the existing domain where booking enquiries are presently handled. It's all in German, and we'd got some pointers on Saturday from the German member of the music group about phraseology and so on (we both have some German, but not up to colloquial standard). As usual, I had some cleaning and tidying to do in preparation for the client's arrival, so it was a really nice bonus when Mr Postman dropped a padded envelope through the letterbox and my Blipfoto Founding Members' badge dropped out. What a thing of beauty it is! I will most definitely wear it with pride.

Our meeting went well, even if we disagreed on certain aspects of the content (he prefers old-fashioned 'click here'-type links, and even originally wanted to use tacky animated 'under construction' graphics). He left satisfied, which is the main thing, and as soon as he left I got stuck into updating my original proposal. The word is that the previous owner of the property in Germany will pull the plug on his web content at the end of the month, so our holding page needs to up by them so he can re-direct to it.
