Totally tangerine

The first of my dahlias has opened a bloom.
I think I chose ones that would be bee friendly, but in any case it’s certainly colourful! I will monitor to see if any bee can sup.
Alas, the weather has turned wet again, which is really bad timing for my honey crop, as the Lime trees are now in full flower. With sunshine the bees can store pounds of honey from them, but this drizzle is the worst for nectar production.
Oh well we can’t control the weather.
