Today’s picture is of a native ladybird. There were quite a few in the garden today as well as several Harlequin ladybirds. There were a variety of other insects on this stinging nettle as can be seen in the background.
The temperature was nineteen degrees Celsius at GMT noon. There has been very little sunshine and by the middle of the afternoon, the grass was not dry enough to mow.
